One of the most well known TV cars is General Lee from the series The Dukes of Hazzard. This 1969 Dodge Charger is remembered for its horn, police chases, stunts, and doors that are welded shut, leaving the Dukes to enter through “The General’s” windows. Making an appearance on every episode but one has given this muscle car fame. With an average of using up more than one General Lee per show, it is rumored that 325 were used to film the series. About 17 are still in existence in various states of repair. The first General Lee was sold to Bubba Watson, a professional golfer, for $110,000. Car lovers will always remember the 145 episodes for the excitement that was brought by General Lee.
