Picturesque Summer Drives

Here’s a short list of “must see” roads that we compiled. This is summer time, so of course these roads would be enjoyed most if you’re behind the wheel of a top down roadster. If you’re sharp enough to buy that roadster here at eimports4Less, you’ll save enough on your purchase to actually have the extra dough to go out and enjoy yourself on some of these roads!

#1 Is always the Pacific Coast Highway in Northern California. There’s probably no better place on Earth to drive. You have the Pacific ocean on one side and redwood forests on the other. Awesome!

#2 Is one of our favorite drives anywhere, the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia and NC. This is a 469 mile stretch through some of the most scenic countryside anywhere. You’ll enjoy this one.

#3 Is the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire. This road always makes our top ten list for fall drives because of how gorgeous the turning of the leaves is, but this trip through New Hampshire’s White Mountains is also awesome in the summer. You’ll also get to pass through the famous Albany covered bridge on this route.

#4 Is Seward Highway in Alaska. This road cuts through Alaska’s Chugach national Forest and ends in Anchorage. This route is the cold version of the PCH. Breathtaking!

#5 Is not for anyone with a heart condition! This is the Million Dollar Highway in Colorado. The Million Dollar Highway is a stretch of 25 miles of road on U.S. 550 between Silverton and Ouray, CO. The really good part of this road is about 12 miles long, south of Ouray through the Uncompahahgre Gorge to the summit of Red Mountain Pass. This particular stretch is full of narrow lanes, hairpin turns, steep inclines and absolutely no guard rails.

Happy Motoring !
