GM recently recalled over 1 million vehicles for faulty ignition switches that could turn off the vehicle and possibly the airbag functions while the vehicle is moving.
5 deaths have supposedly been linked to this issue over the past few years.
The recall is for 2005-2007 Chevrolet Cobalts, 2007 Pontiac G5, 2003-2007 Saturn Ion, 2006-2007 Chevrolet HHR, 2006-2007 Pontiac Solstice and 2007 Saturn Sky. The other model is the 2005-06 Pontiac Pursuit that was sold only in Canada.
I’m not sure which Opel models have been added, but we will add to the post when we get more info on that.
If you have one of these vehicles, check with your local GM dealer asap and get this recall done. It’s a serious concern.
A man in England awoke to find his dog covered in fiberglass shavings from his Aston Martin’s right fender. His insurance company covered the claim and his dog, Lucy, was promptly given away to someone who did not own fiberglass cars.
Here’s another dog also famous for eating cars…in the movies though…
Turner and Hooch is a classic!

This gadget checks your alcohol level with the same technology as the police units. The app can call you a cab, direct you to the nearest late night eatery and it even allows you to take notes so you don’t forget exactly what you were drinking the last time you woke up in a strange city with no kidney.
The winter has gone on for too long and the roads are screwed up everywhere, so we figured that we’d put together a quick group of terrible pot hole pics to make everyone feel better about the minor pot holes that they’re dealing with. It can always be worse. Take a look at the following pics and you’ll feel much better.
The one with the bag of trash and warning cone inside the pot hole is definitely my favorite!
Cheer up. Spring is around the corner.
